Universal Precision Technology is a well-established organization that specializes in the manufacturing of precision components and sub-assemblies for the aerospace, aircraft, military, medical, optical and defense sectors. We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of accomplished individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate proven work experience in sales and marketing strategies
- Seek out prospective customers / business opportunities with new clients
- Establish and maintain customer relationships in order to grow profitable sales
- Represent the company at exhibits and manufacturing technology shows by networking and marketing our services
- Follow-up on generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced
- Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management
- Execute sales efforts in an ethical and professional manner, assuring a professional impression of ones-self and the company
- Follow and comply with all AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, legislative and customer requirements to ensure highest standards are maintained
- Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies (wear appropriate PPE)
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- 5 years’ experience, in manufacturing sales
- Strong knowledge of the machining manufacturing industry
- Commitment and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales presentations
- Demonstrated capability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to speak French and other languages is an asset
- Effectively communicate information with managers and other employees
- Motivated to learn and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record
- Security clearance, including criminal record check
- Own steel-toe safety, CSA certified
