Universal Precision Technology is a well-established organization that specializes in the manufacturing of precision components and sub-assemblies for the aerospace, aircraft, military, medical, optical and defense sectors. We are looking to increase our diverse and dynamic team with the addition of accomplished individuals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- General administration duties involving the preparation of documents, spreadsheets and forms
- Preparation of quotes, purchase orders, invoices and perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Inventory control
- Shipping & receiving, for both clients and suppliers
- Packaging & labeling parts
- Material handling
- Maintain database’s and fill out reports
- Follow and comply with all AS9100 REV D and ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing and quality standards, regulations, legislative and customer requirements to ensure highest standards are maintained
- Abide with instructions, regulations and safety policies (wear appropriate PPE)
- Any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- 3 years’ experience
- Strong computer skills with the ability to use various computer applications
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and suppliers
- Effectively communicate information with managers and other employees
- Motivated to learn and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to be cross train and cross train co-workers is an asset
- Security clearance, including criminal record check
- Own steel-toe safety, CSA certified
